This is holiday season, so there are lots of gift sets available for the next few months. I personally think it really brings out my blue eyes and the warm tones really brighten up the face. It mimics the shape of a lip brush, which helps you achieve really precise application, even if you don’t have a lip pencil. Duplicate a high-end product or never buy the same shade twice. You really have to try to make a quad internally redundant — that should only be a problem with larger palettes. There’s none that come to mind, though I’m sure there were a couple that were decent – I have not tried all of the quads to my memory (which is terrible, so there’s that!).

The shade extension to the Pillow Talk line includes deeper shades of the original lipstick and blush. The Pillow Talk Medium is in the matte revolution formula ($34) and Pillow Talk Intense is in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick Review – Worth It?
I’ve done a couple reviews of Charlotte Tilbury lipstick formulas here and here, so I’ll mainly be updating with swatches. Normally matte lipsticks can be super drying and you have to be careful as they can sometimes emphasize any dry or cracked areas on your lips. Well first off, this lipstick is the most gorgeous nude pink shade that enhances the natural shade of the lips. I don’t understand the hype around Charlotte Tilbury quads, all the swatches I’ve seen have been pretty underwhelming.

Pillow Talk #1is a soft peach with strong, warm orange undertones and a frosted sheen. It had good pigmentation with a soft, lightly dusty texture that was a little thinner than ideal (particularly for using over bare skin but fine over primer). The eyeshadow blended out easily–a little too readily–and had a drier look on my skin. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Pillow Talk Day Eyes (Prime) is a light gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a metallic finish. The consistency was soft, lightly creamy, and dense without being thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading a bit. The new shades are long overdue in my opinion, since the original Pillow Talk shade was really only a nude for light-medium skin tones.
Look Using this Product
Seems as though she does indeed lack inclusion of anyone Medium or beyond. The only exception may be those Cat-eyes e/s singles from a few years back, which would have worked on anyone and everyone! Unfortunately, that’s where the brand’s inclusiveness ends. Hers is not the only brand guilty of excluding us, but it is one that does so in a way that makes it a brand that only barely gets my attention for that reason. Whilst this isn’t my kind of palette, I think it has been well done. The shimmer and matte shades had both decent pigmentation and depth to them.

I know not everyone is a fan of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, so I’d love to know your experience with the lipsticks. I’m happy to report that these lipsticks are not drying, and the formula itself was one of the things I was really impressed with. This nude-pink shade is absolutely beautiful, universally-flattering, and works for any and every occasion.
The texture was soft, slightly dusty, and blendable, which gave it a thinner, drier feel overall. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before it started to fade a touch. Pillow Talk Day Eyes (Smoke) is a muted, medium dusty coral with warm undertones and a matte finish.
These portable blushers are Charlotte’s secret to glowing, flushed skin for a faultless, fresh finish every time. Each shade is a creamy, colour-rich texture containing finely crushed pearls to give skin a limitless glow. As you can see, this shade fits in perfectly with Charlotte Tilbury’s other lipsticks. There are similar shades in the collection, and Rose Kiss is most similar to Pillow Talk Medium, but they are still different enough for me to justify owning both. As with all of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, this is another hit from the line that I can’t get enough of.
It’s hands-down one of the most versatile lipstick shades that can be worn everyday for any occasion, making it a great value. The lipstick does have a slight vanilla scent to it, but it’s not overpowering or overwhelming. All the shades are a bit too warm for me but I can see this being a great staple type quad for a lot of people, especially in summer, with all those warm, sun-tanny type shades.
There is also a Pillow Talk Intense Cheek to Cheek Blush ($40) and Pillow Talk Medium Lip Cheat Lip Liner ($22). These gorgeous lipsticks are the perfect blend of warm and cool tones and fall somewhere between a warm blush pink and a natural-toned nude. On the other hand, the medium pillow talk lipstick is equally as gorgeous and adds the perfect “pop of color”. I really love this palette, it has become my go-to for an every day look, but I agree that the darkest shade isn’t dark enough. If you like a very monochromatic look and rosy warm tones then this might be for you. I usually add a little of the darkest brown shade from the CT Sophisticate palette for a little more depth in the outer crease.
